On my way to Bethlehem

As you noticed I have been pretty busy recently. My doudou and I have travelled around the United Kingdom recently. We like travelling.

I took my doudou to Bethlehem. You are thinking “This 1 year old has no idea where Bethlehem is” but I do.

We went to Bethlehem in South Wales!

We went to Bethlehem through the Brecon Beacons National Park. It was so pretty there was loads of green grass, sheep, and wind! Loads and loads of wind.

Lexicon of a toddler

Today I’d like to dedicate this post to:

the meaning of the world “nana”.

As you know I am a 1 year old toddler, and adults make no effort whatsoever to understand what we toddlers say everyday. So I’d like to share my lexicon with you grown-ups. My one word is “nana” which means different things according to the context.

Example a) Mommy when I point with my pointer finger at your right breast and I say “nana” with saliva drolling out of my mouth: It means I want your milk. It does not mean I have fever or am being grumpy, it just means I want your milk.

Example b) Daddy when you carry me, and I scream “nana” pointing at the cookie jar of Welsh cakes, made by my lovely Grandma, it means I want a Welsh cake. I don’t want to go for a nap. No, I am not tired. Just give me the Welsh cakes made by Grandma, with love, just for me.

c) Why do you give me a healthy banana while you eat a  Gluten-free “Moelleux au chocolat” only for adults? If I scream “nana” pointing at your mouth full of chocolate cake. Please just give me a little crumb of chocolate cake.

I hope that today you have learned something valuable.

ps: Note to fellow toddlers, thank you for your support!
