Co-sleeping with Mommy and Daddy

Have you ever begged your parents to go to bed? I do once a week.

Usually I refuse to go to sleep. I know exactly what you are thinking at this exact moment. You think about this book “Seriously just go to sleep” from Adam Mansbach and Ricardo Cortes. And you are thinking is there a baby on this planet who wants to go to sleep from his own will? You must be thinking oh yeah maybe this baby wants to go to bed on his Mommy’s boob while breastfeeding or maybe he wants to sleep on his Daddy’s large chest.

No I am talking about real sleep in my own bed.

I loved co-sleeping with Mommy and Daddy the first three months of my life but after three months it was either I was waking them up while moving in the middle of the night or they were waking me up by moving. Co-sleeping wasn’t working for either of us anymore.

After these three months, I demanded to stop co-sleeping and to sleep in my own cot, but still in their room. Hey I was not mad!

Btetween my third and my six month, I was happy to sleep in their room. Really happy.

After six months, when I was a 6-month old baby, I could not cope with my parents’ snoring anymore, or with them coming into the room every hour to pick something up while I was sleeping after nine o’clock at night. I demanded to go in my own bedroom in my own cot.

Anyway I forgot about the main topic: Begging to go to bed…I will tell you another time as I am tired.

Goodnight

ps: Thank you Daddy to put me to bed everynight. I love you.
